My Little Milkjug

Salt-fired "milk" jug

A charming little jug, wheel-thrown in stoneware and finished with a green slip before being salt-fired. The matte green and brown surface resemble oxidised copper or mossy rocks. No copper is used in this glaze though! The jug has a comfy, hand-pulled handle and a slightly heavier base, making it feel pleasantly solid and stable; it won't dance away under the vibrating espresso machine.

The little sprigmolded stars add a tiny bit of My Little Pony magic.

This one weighs about 185 grams, holds 100 ml of anything you fancy, and measures 8 cm in height.
