Salt-fired small plate.

The surface is decorated with underglaze clouds applied through slip trailing, creating raised, flowing marks beneath a titanium-bearing glaze that softens and shifts the imagery in the firing. The underside of the plate carries water-etched cloud forms, leaving a distinctly tactile, eroded surface and is finished with a rutile/cobalt slip which matured in the kiln to a matte, moss-green surface.

It stands on a fine double foot ring, giving it a light, lifted presence. The piece measures 15.5 cm in diameter and weighs 210 grams.
