Salt-fired small plate.

The surface is decorated with underglaze clouds applied through slip trailing, creating raised, flowing marks beneath an ash glaze that softens and shifts the imagery in the firing. The underside of the plate carries water-etched cloud forms, leaving a distinctly tactile, eroded surface and is finished with a blue slip, which matured in the kiln to a matte, blue gray and brown surface.

It stands on a double foot ring, giving it a light, lifted presence. The piece measures 15.5 cm in diameter and weighs 190 grams.
